Thanyld River

The Thanyld River flows west, and empties into Atrynn Bay near the recent settlement of Ossinerak. The river flows through the rugged high country east of the coast, and is fed by the glaciers and snow pack which whiten those yet-to-be-named peaks. The Thanyld River valley is very wet, and sees a great deal of rain fall. The valley is filled with magnificent trees; spruce, fir, hemlock and cedars, many of which tower over 100 feet high and are dripping with moss. There is a newly blazed trail leading east, along the north bank of the Thanyld River, but the land is rugged and essentially unexplored.
